Sara Sara Sara

Sara Sara Sara

“He who warned, uh, the…the British that they weren’t gonna be takin’ away our arms, uh, by ringin’ those bells and um by makin’ sure that as he’s ridin’ his horse through town to send those warnin’ shots and bells that uh we were gonna be secure and we were gonna be free…and we were gonna be armed.”

Well Sara may very well lose her tea party support after all a true Tea Party person would know their history about Paul Revere’s ride. Mr. Longfellow would be outraged if her were alive today. I bring up his name because I am 99.99% certain Sara has no clue who he is. For those of you who forgot Henry Wadsworth Longfellow a very famous poet who wrote:
Listen my children and you shall hear
Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere
On the eighteenth of April, in Seventy-five;
Hardly a man is now alive
Who remembers that famous day and year.

He said to his friend, "If the British march
By land or sea from the town to-night,
Hang a lantern aloft in the belfry arch
Of the North Church tower as a signal light,--
One if by land, and two if by sea;
And I on the opposite shore will be,
Ready to ride and spread the alarm
Through every Middlesex village and farm,
For the country folk to be up and to arm."

Well I guess Henry was right when he said “who remembers” and for certain Sara doesn’t. BTW- My apologies to Mr. Longfellow on behalf of the American People.

Now before Sara makes a fool of herself again Paul did not yell the “British are coming” he said "The Regulars are coming out." Why as not to tip off the people who lived in the area that were pro British as many were.

Hey Sara did they teach you in Wasilla public schools that the earth was only six thousand years old and that men and dinosaurs walked it together? And the reason we don’t have dinosaurs any more is because they missed the boat.

Other Sara funny stories:
Sara criticized NOAA's sector-based catch-share fisheries management plan by saying local fishermen know better than the federal government how to maintain the fishery. Actually the Feds took over management in 1977 and the fish which were vanishing are increasing in numbers. And the system in place is working in conjunction with the local fishermen.

Sarah Insists U.S. Must Defend Its Allies In North Korea
Yes that is what she said.

Sarah thinks of the founding age of the United States as an era of "Christian Roots."
'Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof'
Andrew Jackson (1829-1837) was the first Christian president of the United States. However, he didn't join a church until a year after he left office.

Did you know according to her John Adams took part in the Constitutional Convention and was "a leading participant."
Only problem was that John wasn't even in the country; he was in England as U.S. minister to the Court of St. James's.

About the shooting in Arizona-
"[E]specially within hours of a tragedy unfolding, journalists and pundits should not manufacture a blood libel that serves only to incite the very hatred and violence they purport to condemn. That is reprehensible."
Historically, blood libel refers to anti-Semitic accusations from the Middle Ages, when some believed that Jews made Passover matzo from the blood or organs of murdered Christian children. Was Sara sending a secret message to skin heads?

“We don’t have the $2 billion [to give to Egypt]. Where are we going to get it?
Sara – We are not giving Egypt money, we are forgiving $1 billion in debt that was spend on US Food products. The second billion is a loan with no cost to the US taxpayers.

“Look at the debt that has been accumulated over the past two years. It is more debt under this president than all those other presidents combined.”
Bush years 10 trillion in debt
Obama 4 trillion.

“[Obama passed] a trillion dollars in stimulus package projects that still have resulted in record-setting unemployment, a heartbreaking number of home foreclosures, crashed markets left and right.”
Obama’s stimulus plan was actually $800 billion
Great Depression, the unemployment rate reached 23.6 percent in 1932.
When Ronald Reagan was president the unemployment rate reached 9.7% in 1982
Obama’s high was 9.6% in 2010.

“[Look at] the impacts of that [drilling permit] moratorium [in the Gulf of Mexico], where 97 percent of our offshore has been locked up. What we are looking at now is 150,000 barrels less per day next year, and 200,000 barrels per day less being able to be developed from the Gulf the year after. …We are going to be looking at $8 billion a day that we are going to be pouring into foreign countries in order to import that make-up fuel that we are going to need to take place of what we could have gotten out of the Gulf.”
Let’s look at this:
Gulf is not 97% locked up but rather 20% (Energy Information Agency (EIA))
Palin’s claim of $8 billion a day in additional imports is absurd. That would be 80 million barrels at $100 a barrel. Yet the entire world’s consumption is 85 million barrels. So we get 80 and the rest of the world 5. The real number is 200,000 barrels a day. Now at $100 a barrel that is 200 million. Not only is Sara bad at history she skipped her math classes.
